Strathmore RCMP are warning businesses to be wary of fake credit cards.

On Nov. 22 officers responded to a complaint about a group of people who had bought food and a hotel room in the town with fraudulent cards.

Police say further investigation showed the suspects made purchases at other businesses in Strathmore as well.

Suspects use the cards by manually entering the fake card numbers and appeared to manipulate the pin pads.

Anyone with information is asked to call Strathmore RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
