RCMP are investigating a recent jewellry scam in Strathmore.

Four separate incidents have been reported to police of people being approached in business parking lots by individuals selling fake gold jewellery they've claimed to be authentic.

The vehicle involved in most of these cases is described as a blue Dodge Journey with an Ontario or Quebec license plate.

Police say the suspects have been described as middle-eastern men and women and about 30 to 50 years old.

Investigation shows similar incidents happened earlier this month in Vulcan as well as Halkirk, Sundre, and in Saskatchewan.
