A strong showing of support from the Priddis community for a local family after a tragic incident claimed their son's life last week.

The 2-year-old boy who lost his life by falling into a septic tank has been identified by the community as Aaden Blackburn.

Support has been pouring in for the family and a Go Fund Me page was formed to help provide them with financial relief during this difficult time.

In the span of three days, the page has surpassed it's $25,000 goal and raised around $33,000 for the family from about 140 people.

A representative from the Priddis Community Association has told Okotoks Online this speaks to the love in the small community and how connected they are.

Blackburn's funeral was held Tuesday in Calgary.
