Local businesses have the opportunity to learn to be better prepared in case of an emergency.

November is CPR month and one employee from each Okotoks business can learn potentially life saving skills.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR, is useful in many emergencies and is considered to be a lifesaving technique. It can be used in cases where a persons breathing or heartbeat has stopped.

Expeditionary will train an employee from each business on CPR at no cost.

It's a chance for people to network and learn how to make a difference with their first aid training.

Classes are being offered on Nov. 13 with a morning class from 8-12 a.m. and an afternoon class from 1-5 p.m.

To get involved, RSVP to training@expeditionary.ca or call (587) 579- 3672.
