A plea date has been set for the former owner of the Animal House in Okotoks.

Ty Marshall currently faces two charges filed by the Alberta SPCA under the Animal Protection Act in regards to over 200 animals seized from a property in Vulcan County back in April.

He also faces charges dating back to when he owned the Animal House of allowing animals to be in distress and for failing to provide adequate care for an ill animal.

Marshall will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on July 31 for plea.
