The Town of Okotoks along with The Sheep River Health Trust put on another great Picnic at the Piano performance on Monday at the Okotoks Recreation Centre.

This performance carried on the holiday spirit and included caroling and festive decorations.

Allan Boss, Culture and Heritage Manager for the Town of Okotoks, says there was even a visit from Santa himself.

"You know I've heard these jingle bells happening off in the distance, I've made some phone calls and I've heard there might be a visit from the jolly old man!"

This is the second piano to be donated to the program by Art Gieck the owner of The Calgary Piano House.

"It's the love of music it's just what I do, to make sure that the kids really enjoy it," says Gieck. "It's a lifestyle that serves people really well."

The second piano Gieck donated, a Klingerman, is to be housed in the Okotoks Recreation Centre over winter, available for anyone to play.

"The Piano sits out in the open and anybody is welcome to come out to the Okotoks Recreation Centre, just past the cafeteria area, to sit down and play a tune," Boss says. "We'd Love to hear it."
