Okotoks Town Council meets for the first time in September today.

On the agenda is the 2017 Summer Conservation Education Report, two requests for temporary road closures, and a Budget Amendment for the Southridge Emergency Services Building Capital Project.

Council will also hear from Habitat For Humanity, regarding the organization seeking support from the town, former Mayor Bill McAlpine will also be in attendance to be recognized for his induction to the
Okotoks Hall of Fame.

After only meeting once a month all summer, council is now back to regular bi-weekly meetings.

The In-Camera session begins at 12:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, the meeting will be open to the public starting at 1:00 p.m.
