The Sears in Okotoks is one of the 59 locations the company will be closing as a result of a restructuring plan.

Sears announced Yesterday, June 22, that it is seeking court protection from creditors, and plans to cut nearly 3,000 jobs Canada wide.

The company is closing 14 Sears Hometown locations, 20 full-line locations, 10 outlet stores, and 15 Sears Home stores.

Okotoks Sears says no firm dates have been set for the store's closure.
