Okotoks RCMP say they've charged a Cochrane man in regards to stolen property.

On Aug. 24, police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle and persons parked outside of Nature's Hideaway Campground.

A man was heard walking near a camping trailer and wouldn't respond when he was challenged by a camper.

Investigation by Okotoks RCMP resulted in the arrest of two men and one woman.

They were found to be in possession of a long list of stolen items including a Chevrolet 2500 van, five Alberta license plates, assorted tools, jewelry, two cell phones, three firearms, and a significant amount of ammunition.

Police say they've charged Aaron Thomas Buechi with a number of offences including three Counts of Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, three Counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance, three Counts of Failing to Comply with Probation Order, three Counts of Unauthorized possession of a Firearm, one Count of Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm, one Count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, and one Count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

Buechi is scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Sept. 15.
