Okotoks RCMP assisted Calgary police and HAWCS in the arrest of two men.

On May 8, a vehicle stolen in Calgary made its way down to Okotoks.

The vehicle was driving dangerously through town and went through rural land, damaging fences and property.

The suspects bailed on the first vehicle and stole a second.

Okotoks RCMP laid down a spike belt which managed to bring the vehicle to a stop.

According to police, Blake MacPherson, 27, and Maxime Phillipe, 32, were charged with multiple offences including break and enter, possession of stolen property under $5,000, theft of a truck, possession of break in tools, mischief over $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with recognizance, and possession of counterfeit money.

Both were taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
