Okotoks RCMP are asking for the public's help in identifying a pair of suspects.
According to officers, the two men assaulted a man around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
The suspects were seen checking car doors along Knowles Avenue in Okotoks when they realized one of the vehicles they were checking had a person sitting inside.
One suspect fled on foot while the other hid close by.
The victim got out of his vehicle and confronted the second suspect, and as a result was assaulted and treated on scene for minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as a shorter Caucasian man who was wearing black clothing with a hood.
The second suspect is said to be a tall Caucasian man with a strong build, oval shaped face with a small brown chin beard, large teeth, and was wearing a bright orange hood, black sweater, and black pants.

RCMP are reminding residents that if they're witnessing a crime in progress they should call 911 immediately and not approach the individuals involved.
