The Tier Two Okotoks Eagles Peewee Football Club conquered a major hurdle on Saturday at Shouldice Park.

They went up against the Calgary Stampeders Peewee team in a battle for the City Championship, and won!

The Eagles Peewee team hit the ground running with a 65 yard pass by quarter back Emerson Liepert to #15 Ethan Moorman, who ran it in for the first touch down of the game.

Later in the game the Eagles defense stepped up when #93 Ben Haden forced a fumble to put the ball into Eagles possession.

They won the Tier Two City Championship 21 to 14 over the Calgary Stampeders.

The win moves the Eagles on to the Tier Two Provincial Game next Saturday at Shouldice Park, kick off time is 11 am.
