The great crew of the Okotoks Fire Department invited us out to watch them practice their vehicle extration training Friday morning or as many know as using the Jaws of Life.

It's amazing to see how much power is behind this machine that could one day safe your life if ever in a serious traffic accident.

A special thank-you to Captain Dave Hodgins who allowed us to come out to their training site and also a big thank you to Fire Chief Ken Thevenot and Deputy Fire Chief Dwight Seymour for setting this up.

The Fire Department are hoping to work on their ice rescue training next Friday and we'll hopefully be around for that as well.
