The Okotoks Chamber of Commerce and its members got together to celebrate 2015 at Wednesday's annual Christmas Social.

Cheryl Actemichuk, chamber CEO, reflects on the past year and says the Chamber has experienced a great deal of growth with memberships and learning opportunities.

She says with current economic worries, she wants to make sure members know they can always come to the chamber as an outlet.

"Right now we're just trying to be there for our members and support them in any way that we can, partnering with the Town on different events and of course other organizations," she says. "We just want our members to know that if they need us or need us to lobby for them we're here to help do that."

Actemichuk says members can expect a few changes in the new year.

"There will be big changes in 2016. There will be a change at the helm with Amber Chapman's term being done so we'll have Andrew Gustafson stepping up in January as our president and we'll have an all new board. Once that happens it'll be business as usual, but with a little bit of a twist."
