Okotoks is home to many great hockey players, but it's also home to Sidney Crosby's 9-year-old biggest fan.

Luke Vink's dreams are coming true as he was recently accepted into Crosby's Hockey Camp this summer in Nova Scotia.

Vink says he had to write a letter as part of the contest explaining why he wanted to participate. Here's what he wrote.

"Hi my name is Luke and I am 9 years old. Hockey is my passion, and Crosby is my idol. I would like to attend your camp, as i would like to be a better player and learn from the best.  I also know, that in order to play hockey, my school work comes first, and I need to do my best in that too. I would love the opportunity to skate with your camp this summer."

Luke's mother Renee Vink says she found out via email that Luke had been accepted.

"I didn't think out of the thousands of people, that he would get picked." Vink says  "he came home from school, and I asked him what would be his dream come true? He answered playing in the NHL, and I said what's your next dream come true? And he said skating at the Crosby Camp, so I showed him the Email, and Luke was so excited, crying and jumping up and down."

Luke says Crosby is his favourite player and his behaviour on and off the rink is why.

"He's a talented person and he uses sportsmanship on and off the ice".

Obviously, Vink says the Penguins will be winning the cup this year and was quite vocal when it came to Crosby's latest concussion in game 3.

"Stinking Ovechkin!" said Vink, with a growl.
