Another hands on event for the Okotoks Kraft Hockeyville team that had many licking their lips before and after.

The Kraft Dinner Cook-off was well received Saturday afternoon with some spins on a cult classic dish.

Hockeyville organizer Connie Drake says the judges were in tough finding the best KD spread.

"It was very well received by the Okotoks Oilers who were the judges, we had Jordie Lawson, Nolan Thompson and Brody Hailwood come and be our judges for the event," she says. "We had four contestants coming in from age 9 all the way to adult entries."

Drake says she along with the Oiler judges were impressed with the cheesy creations made by the contestants.

"We had some very cheesy dishes and then some meat and different takes thrown into them so it was great. The winner was Ryan, he was a dad who submitted his dish and the Oilers loved it the best."

This is the final week for Hockeyville events before the Top 10 communities are named this coming weekend.

Hockeyville currently has it's scavenger hunt that teams can register for.
