The Literacy For Life Foundation is partnering with Foothills SNAPS, Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society and Wild Rose Community Connection.

The four non-profit organizations will be banding together to throw a 20 year anniversary party at George Lane Park in High River on June 16th.

Activities will include things like bouncy castles and facepainting, as well as things like story busking and information sessions.

Deanna Misana, Volunteer and Communications Coordinator for the Literacy For Life Foundation says they are happy they get to celebrate their 20 years together.

"We've all partnered up together because we're all none profits, and work closely together because we're all providing different services for the community. It just so happens we're all celebrating our 20 years." Misana said.

A Ceremony will kick off the event complete with a ribbon cutting by executives of the four charities. A portion of the ribbon will be framed and inaugurated into the offices of each charity.

The event is also to promote that the services are all available to families in the Foothills that need them.
