The Province will be setting up six work groups to hammer out the regulations around their Farm Safety Law, or Bill 6.

However Livingstone-MacLeod MLA Pat Stier isn't too confident in the process.

"Now that they've made the decision that they're going to put it into effect, we're seeing how they're going to roll it out. We don't know how these committees, if you will, or groups are going to be organized, who's going to represent them. Who they cherry-picked to put on those committees is one of our bigger concerns."

Stier says no one from the opposition benches was asked to take part.

"Oh no. No we certainly have not. We have not been in contact with any people regarding this whatsoever. We don't get much more news other than what you get. We find out about it on a Friday when nobody's around and they sneak an announcement out."

Stier points out when it comes to the regulation process, those regulations are not debatable in the Legislature and can be changed at will by the government.
