A Calgary NDP MLA is on the outside looking in after getting the boot from her own party.

Claiming being bullied, and a culture of "fear and intimidation," Calgary-East MLA Robyn Luff refused to take her seat in the Legislature and was kicked out of caucus.

Luff is the second backbencher to make these claims, as former NDP MLA, Karen MacPherson also left caucus under similar circumstances and now sits as an MLA with the Alberta Party.

Luff says everything she does in the Legislature is written for her and she's not allowed to represent her constituents properly.

The NDP Caucus denies her claims.
