The Town of Nanton has brought back their annual awards night.

Mayor Rick Everett says it's been a while since the Town hosted the event and he thought it would be a good idea to recognize several businesses and other services who have been critical to the Town's success.

He says awards will also be going out to deserving individuals.

"We also have awards for, which I think are critical ones, volunteers in our community and we also have one for lifetime achievement," Everett says. "We're trying to recognize businesses and individuals in our community that have done things to help our community grow and keep it where it is today."

The awards get going at 6:30 p.m. at the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton.

Tickets are available at the Town Office or online.
