The High River Airport is clear for take off, landing and now parking.

President of the High River Regional Airport, Steff Stephansson, says it's just another way the town continues to grow.

The airport plans to add an additional 13 spaces, which will allow for 39 aircraft to park at the airport.

Stephansson says this will help clean up the ramp and apron areas providing more room to accommodate airport traffic.

The MD of Foothills will be building these new spaces, and they should be ready by the Spring.
