Still no election and plea in the Eddie Maurice case.

His Lawyer Tonii Roulston says she's still waiting for the Crown to deliver a ballistics report which she says will be very important heading into any preliminary inquiry.

Maurice's Wife Jessica, did bring up a new piece of information in regards to the incident back in February at their property near Okotoks.

"When this all happened I was actually out of the country, and Eddie was home alone with our baby at the time. And that's something we really haven't publicly talked about, but on our end that really changes how we're able to handle it as a family because there's a lot of weight and pressure on Eddie by himself. Yeah, it's really changed our perspective of a lot of things about the justice system as well. You know, calling 9-1-1 like she (Roulston) said and then being arrested rather than helped."

Roulston says they're still waiting for one key ballistics report before they can move ahead.

But at the end of the day Roulston would like to see the charges dropped.

"This family just wants to move on. They're not asking for this attention. We're concerned because these charges do carry an incarceratory sentence. This isn't just house arrest and a slap on the wrist, which the complainants are charged with, these charges are very serious."

Maurice is accused of shooting at two people allegedly breaking into his vehicle at the time and is facing charges of aggravated assault, pointing a firearm and careless use of a firearm.

He'll be back in court again, Friday, May 18.
