Okotoks RCMP have arrested a man in connection of looking inside parked vehicles with flashlight Monday.

At around 11:10 p.m. RCMP discovered the man walking down the sidewalk in the Crystal Shores area and was carrying two bags with a number of stolen items in them.

James Hanlon of no fixed address had a number of outstanding warrants for his arrest.

He is charged with possesion of stolen property and mischief.

Hanlon will appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on December 9.

RCMP are thanking the public for informing them of the suspicious activity and are encouraging community members to continue locking their vehicles and remove valuables from inside of them.

The missing items recovered by police were

-          Oakley sunglasses with a case

-          Pink screwdriver

-          Silver flashlight

-          Roots wallet

-          Car keys

-          Set of keys (multiple keys attached)
