Helping other children enjoy Christmas was the only wish on the list this year for a young Okotoks boy.

Eight-year-old Kydon Hemsing donated four boxes and two large bags of toys to the Magic of Christmas this year.

The Ecole Percy Pegler student says he feels fortunate to be able to share Christmas with others.

"I had nothing on my Christmas list, except giving to others," Kydon says.

He says he donated four boxes and two large bags of toys to the Magic of Christmas, for children ranging in ages from infants to teens.

"I am very fortunate," he explains. "So, I wanted to give to Magic of Christmas because I have a lot, I'm very fortunate."

In addition to the toy donations, Kydon says he enjoyed helping out with the Magic of Christmas as a volunteer gift wrapper.

He says he was happy to have the opportunity to share the joy of Christmas with others.

"It makes my heart grow," Kydon says.

The Magic of Christmas made its annual delivery of gifts to referred families in Okotoks, High River, Black Diamond and Turner Valley on Saturday, December 16.
