What was lost has now been found.

After 18 years a Championship belt buckle has been returned to its owner.

Trevor Chapman won the 1995 Bareback High River High School Rodeo buckle and it went missing sometime after.

"I borrowed it to my little brother when I got married...he came to me one day and said he couldn't find it anymore so...that was 18 years ago."

The buckle was originally found after the 2013 flood and was recently returned to the radio station by Paul Allan.

Allan cleaned it up and was hoping it would find it's way to the rightful owner.

Chapman says once the story was reported it got back to him pretty quickly.

"Everybody saying that buckle of yours you won in High River is on the interweb so we looked it up and sure enough it was mine.  I was pretty excited."

As you can imagine Champman was surprise it was found.

"I never, ever did think I'd see it again...there's others lost out there too so it's always good to recoup the ones that are lost."
