While hitting the midway of whats left of the 2015 Calgary Stampede, you might want to

make a quick stop at Weadickville and fuel up with some local candy.

Monika McLachlan's Weadickville Candy Store is back at the Calgary Stampede for the fifth straight year.

All Through The House's Monika Mclachlan's candy store is back for the fifth straight Stampede and is keeping the spirit of her former local store alive.

Mclachlan says the local presence and her prices sets her stand away from other merchants who come way out of town to sell candy at the Stampede.

"They like to support local." she says. "Rather than other companies that are from other provinces and the states, they like to see that Okotoks is represented here at that Stampede."

Despite there not being a candy store in Okotoks anymore Mclachlan says she'd like to bring one back to town.

"We're hoping to look for another location in the future," she says.

Malachlan added that her business has enjoyed being part of the summer tradition that is the Calgary Stampede.

"We've been here for five years, the stampede loves us," she says. "They really love what we do here, we're the most reasonable candy store in the Stampede actually."
