With Lemonade Day only about two weeks away the call has been put out for volunteers.

On June 11 children will have booths set up all over Okotoks as they test the entrepreneurial waters.

Shari Gustafson, volunteer coordinator for Lemonade Day, says they'll be loading volunteers pockets with change and sending them to visit the stands.

"The volunteers will be taking pictures of stands and interviewing the entrepreneurs, just finding out what they've enjoyed about starting their own business, what challenges they may have faced, and learning a little more about what they have learned through the process of becoming an entrepreneur."

Video footage will be taken as well to provide a more in depth visual of what Lemonade Day is all about.

Different shifts are available for people to choose from including a full day shift from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. or a half day of either 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Gustafson says they're also looking for volunteers for the Lemonade day wind-up barbeque.

"We're looking for people to help us fling burgers, run bouncy castles, and help clean up and set up," she says. "It's just a really great celebration of the event and we could use some extra hands just to help navigate and facilitate the event."

The barbeque is scheduled to take place on June 16 at Cimarron Park.
