Another brief court appearance for Okotoks area homeowner Edouard Maurice Friday, April 6.

His Lawyer Tonii Roulston reserved plea as they're still waiting for more discovery materials, in particular police notes and reports from the night Maurice's home was allegedly robbed by two suspects, and one was shot.

Roulston says Maurice and his family have faced a heavy burden in this case, which she says they plan to fight all the way.

"It's our intention to enter pleas of not guilty. We'll set this matter for a judge and jury trial."

Maurice will be back in court for another plea hearing, in Okotoks Provincial Court, Friday, April 20th at 9:30 a.m.

He's facing charges of aggravated assault, pointing a firearm and careless use of a firearm.

Supprters for Eddie Maurice and rural landowners packed the outside of the Okotoks Provincial Court again Friday.
