Today is the last day to participate in the online survey regarding local transit.

Phase Two of the transit plan was launched in October, and aimed to gain more feedback from residents.

Data was gathered from residents regarding how they would like transit to be implemented, including pricing, range of service, and hours of operation.

After the end of Phase Two there will be no more public consultation before the plan goes to council.

Colin Gainer, Senior Planner with the Town of Okotoks says the feedback is a major factor in the plan, but ultimately it will be up to town council.

"It's still up to council to determine the full scale of what will be looked at for implementation but we are still looking at implementation in 2019."

Gainer said the results of the survey will be reviewed as soon as possible and a proposal will hopefully be brought to council in December.
