Kayben farms is about to open for it's 9th season.

Saturday the farm will be ready for visitors to come explore new attractions.

Judy Kolk, owner of Kayben Farms, says they have a couple new treasures hidden in their woods this year.

"We have all our nature trails which we've always had but now we're starting to hide cool things in the woods so as you explore and go through there you'll come upon cool new things."

Kolk won't give away what exactly the new features are but she says one of them is colourful and can be climbed on and that artistic abilities can be displayed on another.

It won't be long before the farm welcomes a couple new family members to their herd.

Recently their expectant goat moms paid a visit to the vets.

"We brought them in and they got their ultrasounds, we got to see pictures of their babies and we're so excited," Kolk says. "We've had pregnant goats and sheep in the past but never got an actual ultrasound and it was exciting."

Currently the goats are about six weeks along in their five month pregnancy.

Kayben Farms will be open to the public Saturday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
