Three of the four Highwood candidates for the Provincial election participated in a forum at the Okotoks Trade and Lifestyle show this past weekend.

The Okotoks and District Chamber of Commerce hosted a forum in which candidates were questioned on numerous subjects, based on questions received from constituents prior to the event.

UCP candidate, RJ Sigurdson, Alberta Independence Party candidate, Dan Irving, and Alberta Party Candidate, Ron Kerr all participated in the forum, sharing their party's platforms on numerous subjects including health care, the future of the carbon tax, local water pipelines, pipelines in general, corporate taxes, education, policing, and what sets their party apart from the others.

Highwood's NDP candidate, Erik Overland was extended an invite to the forum, however was unable to attend.
