The official Emergency Operations Centre in High River has been deactivated.

In the past the EOC was activated to deal with high water or flood problems.

This time it was activated in March when a coordinated effort was needed at the height of the pandemic.

For three months, the Town organized activities through the team at the EOC to ensure the safety of the community.

While the centre has been closed the town reminds everyone that COVID-19 is still a health concern.

The Town will continue to follow guidance from Alberta health officials and the province as we follow through with our local relaunch plans.

Information can still be found at highriver.ca/-covid19.

Individual updates on the Town website, social media channels and in the Town Crier.
