The heat warning for the Foothills has come to an end.

After a few days of temperatures hovering above 30 degrees, residents can expect to see temperatures dip down into the low 20s, high teens.

On Monday, Okotoks saw thunderstorms in the morning with another risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and a high of 22.

For Tuesday, a 60% chance of showers with a risk of a thunderstorm and high of 19 can be expected.

The cool-down isn't expected to last for long though as Wednesday conditions will spike again with sunshine and a high of 28.
