There's some good news for those seeking relief from our recent sweltering temperatures.

Environment Canada's heat warning for the Foothills has ended.

Daytime high temperatures are currently forecast to hover around 20 degrees Celsius for the next couple of days, and there's even a chance we could see some much-needed precipitation.

The reprieve from the heat could be short-lived, however, as temperatures could start creeping up again by the end of the week.

Environment Canada issues heat warnings when temperatures are expected to reach 29 degrees Celsius or above.
