Even though november is only a few days away, there's still plenty of harvesting going on around the Foothills.

Kelly Malmberg, the Agricultural Fieldman with the County of Vulcan says it's better in some spots that others.

"Most guys in the Vulcan area to the South and East are done. North there's still quite a bit of crop and overall in Alberta there's a lot of crop that's going to need some dry weather here for a long time."

He says yields this growing season have been very high and as long as farmers can get good prices for their product they stand to have a very good year financially.
