After Tuesday night's thunderstorm town crews have been out working on the cleaning up.

Communications administrator Melanie Heemeryck says they were out till around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night and started up again early on Wednesday.

"Sweeping up pathways, along with cleaning leaves out of the catch basins, the parks department is currently working on the trees that are damaged on public property."

One of the main priorities is to clean up the sports fields and pathways leading to them, so that way any games scheduled for Wednesday will still go as planned.

The complete cost of damages is still unknown but will be figured out in the days to come.

"More areas need to be observed, and as crews continue to clear the pathway systems they will see any damage that occurred." Heemeryck says.

Heemeryck adds they are hoping to get everything in the town cleaned up as soon as possible.

"Work will continue over the next few days, and hopefully be completed by early next week."
