The momentum for Okotoks Kraft Hockeyville nomination isn't slowing down anytime soon.

Friday morning the Dash For Kraft Relay is taking place at Okotoks Sobeys at 8:00 a.m. then Saturday is packed with action for the Mac N' Cheese Cook-Off.

Connie Drake, organizer, says no matter the skill level or age, they're looking for anyone who can make a mean KD.

"There's a lot of variations of mac and cheese that you can do," she says. "We want to taste those! We want to see how original and unique people can be with Kraft products so it doesn't have to necessarily be a box of mac and cheese, if you're using Kraft products we'd love to taste what you've got going on with that."

Rules for the cook-off are participants must use at least one Kraft product and meals need to be prepared in advance and brought in their own warming container.

The cook-off will take place at the Pason Centennial Arena at noon. Following the cook off at 1:00 p.m. will be a free showing of the movie MVP: Most Valuable Primate at Okotoks Cinemas where donations for the Okotoks Food Bank will be accepted.

Drake says a town wide scavenger hunt is also planned for next week leading up to the Hockeyville top 10 nominations announcement on Mar. 5.

"The week long event will take teams on a journey visiting Okotoks landmarks, collecting crazy items, and taking pictures that they'll have to post to social media using the hashtag (#KHV_PasonCentArena)."

More information will be announced on the scavenger hunt on the Okotoks Hockeyville 2016 facebook page.
