Okotoks residents have a couple opportunities to travel to Banff this summer thanks to On-It regional transit.

On-It is launching trips to Banff this weekend in honour of Canada 150.

Two pick-ups are scheduled to take place in Okotoks at the Recreation Centre over the summer with Calgary's Somerset Bridlewood LRT station acting as the next closest pick-up point.

Once passengers arrive in Banff they'll be able to transfer onto Banff's Roam transit system or head to Lake Louise, Lake Minnewanka, Cave and Basin National Historic Site, Tunnel Mountain, and others courtesy of Parks Canada's free shuttles.

Adults are $10 each way while children 5-years-old and under are free.

The weekend services will be offered until Sept. 4.
