There's a whole lot of fresh air in Freshii today, after a vehicle rammed through the store's front.

Larry Mathieson, Co Owner of Freshii, says himself and staff were preparing for the lunch rush today, Sept. 15, when the accident happened.

He says the driver of the vehicle was actually looking for a job at Freshii.

"A young fellow was coming to drop off a resume and apply for a job," he says. "He had borrowed an SUV and he pulled up to here and thought he was putting on the brake but instead pushed the accelerator, so he just kind of drove right through the window."

Mathieson shares Freshii will more than likely be closed until tomorrow, he's hoping to re-open after the building is cleared for safety.

"We were hoping to be open for dinner but I'm not sure we're going to make it, we'll probably be open tomorrow. The glass company just needs to make sure it's structurally ok and is safe."

Mathieson says fortunately the young man who was driving is ok, and the vehicle was barely damaged.

As for the job application, Matheison says he certainly made an impression.

"It was such a shock and he was super startled, but my wife thinks we should hire him, because we're thinking how many times we'll get to say 'hey remember that one time you drove through our store', we'll never let him live it down.'"
