Foothills RCMP say a series of battery thefts from RV's and commercial vehicles occurred during the month of March.

RCMP are hoping any victims with video surveillance of the theft will come forward to share their footage.

They are asking owners of RVs and commercial vehicles to ensure their batteries are easily identifiable, either by the assigned serial number, or another distinct marking.

Two similar thefts were reported in January. RCMP said at the time that the vehicles were both parked in the back of their homes, making them easy targets.

Anyone with information on the battery thefts are encouraged to call Okotoks RCMP at 403-995-6400, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
