Okotoks residents looking for a boost in protection from the flu this season can grab their immunization Wednesday at the Foothills Centennial Centre.

This is the first flu shot clinic of the season in town as Alberta Health Services made the vaccine available on Monday.

The free clinic runs on a drop in basis from 11 a.m.- 6:45 p.m.

Those who aren't able to make it to the clinic on Wednesday can also swing by the Centennial Centre on Thursday for the final day of the clinic during the same times.

Flu shots are also available at pharmacies and some doctors offices.
