The Town of Okotoks has received reports of cougar tracks by the ravine near St. Mary's School.

The school, RCMP, and Fish and Wildlife have all been made aware of the tracks.

Typically the Town receives a few reports of cougar sightings each year.

Okotoks is located in a wildlife corridor and the occasional coyote, moose, and bear sightings have been reported in the past as well.

Sightings should be reported to Fish and Wildlife (403) 652- 8330 or in case of emergency or immediate danger 911 should be contacted.
