Power was out Monday night around the Hitchin' Post in High River when a vehicle crashed

into a transformer just north of the traffic circle at 12th Avenue and Centre Street about 9:30 p.m.

Crews from Fortis worked feverishly to get the transformer replaced and the power back on.

It's believed one vehicle plowed into another driving it into the transformer.

More information is expected Tuesday morning.
