The Town of Okotoks' Click n' Fix app is no more.

The app was for residents to report any issues, requests, or repairs residents noticed around town.

Melanie Heemeryck, Communications Specialist for the Town of Okotoks, says the decision to get rid of the app means saving money for the Town.

"Analysis of the mobile app usage and analytics indicated the mobile app was under utilized and cost prohibitive. Phasing out the mobile app component of Report It will save the Town $8,000 annually in subscription fees to a third party."

Heemeryck says the Report It page on the Town's website operates fairly similar to the app.

"Further enhancements have been made to our online Report It form and it will be a robust geographical mapping system and other components to it will be introduced in 2019 that will replace the mobile app."

The Report It page can be used to document concerns ranging from malfunctioning traffic lights, pot holes, and waste collection issues to damages to private and public property.
