How do you remember Mom on Mothers Day? IMG 0175Mothers Day shoppers

The Market Square, Spring Fling took place just in time to get mom a handcrafted and personalized gift, and for many it served as an excuse to get out and enjoy some shopping with their moms as well.

Many of those attending bought mom bath products, jewelry, or hand made food products.

Claire Crawford, Owner of Dogton Abbey says you just can't forget your fur-moms, or dog moms today either!

"A lot of people are buying treats for their female dogs to celebrate mothers day, and really all dogs, and dog moms deserve a treat too!"

Crawford says her dogs give her the ultimate mothers day gifts, kisses and affection.

Local mom, Shauna Hayward and Owner of Madfish Glass Beads says, in motherhood, it's easy to forget about your self, so pampering mom, or glamming her up is always a good option.

"It is important because quite often, as moms, we forget about ourselves! We just don't take the time to pamper ourselves, so this is a good way to give back to mom."

12 Year old, Jenny Halbert was working at the Market with her mother, she was running her own booth.

She says time, is her Mom's favourite gift.

"It's just really fun, and a fun way to be together and spend time together.  Our mom's do everything for us, and they're there when we need them."

Halbert says she plans on gifting her mom one of her handmade wooden hair pins to say thank you for all that she does!

Remember to give moms a big hug today, and thank them for all that they do!
