A candlelight vigil will be held Monday night hoping to help find a missing High River man.

Mike Ully of Strathmore who used to call High River and Okotoks home has been missing since last Monday when RCMP found his truck abandoned in Carseland.

No one has been able to contact Ully since his cell phone was found in his home which is unlike him.

Lisa Beyers is helping coordinate the vigil, she says she hopes the vigil can bring warmth and support to Ully's family and friends looking for him.

"We just to be able to offer some support to the family, just show how great it is to have small communities come together at times like this."

The Ully family has taken to social to help find Mike and Beyers says with Monday's vigil its a chance to cover all avenues in the search for him.

"I'm not sure that the awareness has been outside social medias we're just trying to bring as much awareness about the situation, just so people can be made aware that Mike is missing and just being able to keep their eyes open and offer any information that might be out there."

The vigil starts at 7 p.m. at Rotary Park in High River.
