The end of the 2015 year is quickly coming an end, and the town of Black Diamond is looking at all they have accomplished, and are coming up with their new year resolutions.

The town will hit a huge milestone come the end of the year. Flood remediation will be complete.

This accomplishment was two years in the making and Mayor Sharlene Brown, says "they are finally putting that chapter behind them and is very happy that all of those peices have been completed".

With remediation complete, the town is now looking at their future, and they have some big ticket items on their agenda.

Brown says that those include "growth, managing growth, and what that will look like", along with reducing greenhouse gas emissions for provincial climate change, and also what needs to be done to foster relationships with other municipalities.

In short, for 2016, Black Diamond is focused on the community and what they want their community to be.
