There was quite a range of prices paid for homes in the Beachwood Estates area of High River.

The Province's surplus building auction finished Friday with the highest bid coming in at $250,050.

The lowest price paid was just $28,050.

Ten homes went for under $100,000 while 13 went for between $100,000 and $200,000 and just two went for over $200,000.

The new owners have 160 days to move the homes off the property once all the paperwork is completed and then the province moves in to return the area to its natural state.
