It's all over for another year and it was another big success.

The 4th Annual Heritage Inn International Balloon Festival had a couple of weather related hiccups at the start, but organizer Jamie Kinghorn says the Balloon Glow had between 6,000 and 7,000 people come out.

"You know anytime you do something new in a new facility for the first time there are a few challenges and we had a couple but overall the hospital folks were extremely happy and the view they had from the hospital was just amazing," Kinghorn says. "I just love that particular part of the balloon event because it just brightens the whole town up, the people that come out and they're smiling and laughing and it's just a really good time."

He says if they can they'll go back to Spitzee next year with a few more porta-potties and he thinks traffic might not be so bad because most of the construction will be completed.

As for the event overall, Kinghorn says it went really well, with really good feedback from the 22 pilots who took part.

He says many have said they'll be back next year.
