Residents in the Aldersyde area wanting bulk water will have to go elsewhere for the week.

The Aldersyde bulk water fill station is currently in need of some repair work but is expected to reopen by the end of the week.

M.D. of Foothills communications coordinator Leslie Lambert says residents still have an alternate option for the time being.

"We will be advising the public as soon as it is repaired but in the meantime the Blackie bulk fill water station is available and open."

The Blackie station is open to the public 24 hours but is only coin operated.

The M.D. of Foothills will notify the public on their homepage and social media as soon as repair work is done.

For the location of the Blackie station visit the M.D. of Foothills website.
